HBI’s service provides market intelligence to ensure our customers remain AHEAD. We have different ways of providing this intelligence.
As brokers, HBI buys or sells goods on behalf of our customers. Over 35 years of experience in these global commodity markets enables HBI to guide customers on market trends, for example, whether to buy or sell long or short. After negotiation, a transaction is concluded and then formulated in a contract. The deal is transparent, as both counterparts know who the buyer and seller involved in the contract is. HBI does not take ownership of the material, ensuring neutrality in the relationship. We are remunerated on a commission basis.
We also operate as agents where HBI is appointed to act as an exclusive marketeer for a specific product in a specific region on behalf of a principal, either as a buyer or a seller.
